Helen is a highly experienced Home Manager with over thirty years of working in the sector across many specialities of care. A qualified Registered Nurse and Manager, she is passionate about providing compassionate, person-centred care and giving the best quality of life to those who live at La Fontana. Helen is honoured to lead the team here and support residents, families and staff while ensuring the home runs smoothly and maintains the highest standards.
Sunil, a former British Army serviceman with thirteen years of service, joins the organisation as a Clinical Deputy Manager, bringing a strong blend of clinical, operational, and leadership experience. Sunil is a registered General Nurse and holds Chartered Manager status- the highest professional accolade in management and leadership. He has worked across many specialities, including acute medical, surgical, community, residential, dementia, nursing care and predominantly in Head and Neck services, ENT and SDEC. Most recently, he served as Operational Manager and HCRG Community Nursing Services. Sunil is also an ED&I adviser, demonstrating his dedication to safe care, effective teams and inclusive leadership.
Kerri is one of our Unit Managers with over 18 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Recently transitioning to a qualified nurse role. She is passionate about leading her team to deliver compassionate person-centred care. She looks forward to using her skills to make a positive difference and have a meaningful impact on the lives of those she cares for.
Philip is one of our Unit Managers and oversees the clinical aspects and day-to-day care within the unit. He provides clinical leadership and works closely with residents, families and the wider care team to ensure that care is safe, effective and centred around each resident’s individual needs. With a strong nursing background, Phillip supports staff in maintaining high standards of care, promotes good clinical practice and helps ensure residents are treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
With over 25 years’ experience in hospitality, including many top hotels, Petronella leads our housekeeping team and is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards are maintained for all those who live at La Fontana. From laundry to cleaning, and ensuring all the personal touches are in place. She prides herself on providing the best possible service.
As Head Chef, Gary has been a valued member of the team since 2011. With extensive experience in the kitchen, he is dedicated to preparing high-quality, nutritious meals and ensuring excellent food standards. Gary takes pride in his role, contributing to the wellbeing and enjoyment of residents through his passion for cooking.
